The Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office (MDSO) reminds all fans attending FIFA World Cup matches to arrive at the stadium early and allow extra time for travel, parking, and security screening.

Stadium gates will open three (3) hours prior to kickoff, giving spectators ample time to clear security checkpoints, locate their seats, and enjoy pre-match activities.

Due to the large number of attendees expected, significant traffic congestion is anticipated on roadways surrounding the stadium before and after each match.  Fans are encouraged to:

• Arrive as early as possible.
• Review parking and transportation plans before leaving home.
• Consider carpooling or utilizing public transportation when available.
• Follow posted traffic signs and directions from law enforcement personnel.
• Have tickets readily available upon arrival.
• Be prepared for security screening and prohibited-item checks.

Fans who wait until close to kickoff may experience delays entering the venue and could miss portions of the match.
