Information We Collect

When you visit County web sites, we may collect some information from you. This information does not identify you personally and may include: your Internet protocol address, the type of browser and operating system used to access the site, the date and time the site was accessed, the pages visited, and if you linked from another web site, the address of that site.

If you voluntarily provide information to us through an e-mail or online form, we may use that information to respond to you, to send updates, or to conduct the County business.

Miami-Dade County uses industry-standard software to protect the confidentiality of personally identifiable information. However, absolute security of online transactions cannot be guaranteed due to the inherent nature of the Internet.

Public Records

Under Florida law, e-mail addresses are public records. If you do not want your e-mail address released in response to a public records request, do not send electronic mail to this entity. Instead, contact the office by phone or in writing.
