The Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office Homicide Bureau is investigating a shooting that left one man dead.

According to investigators, at approximately 5:38 p.m., Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office Northside District deputies responded to the area of 3316 NW 38 Street in reference to a shooting. Upon their arrival, they located a male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound(s). As deputies rendered lifesaving efforts, Miami-Dade Fire Rescue responded and transported the male to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

Further investigation revealed that two adult males were involved in a dispute, during which one of the males brandished a firearm and shot the other male. The subject then fled the scene in an unknown direction and by unknown means.

The investigation continues. 

The deceased has been identified.
