On Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at approximately 5:10 p.m., Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office (MDSO) Organized Crime Bureau detectives attempted to make contact with a wanted subject near SW 4 Avenue and SW 8 Street.

According to investigators, the adult male reversed his vehicle, nearly striking detectives, and collided with two unmarked MDSO vehicles. The subject then fled the area. Detectives lost visual contact and later located the vehicle abandoned.
