As students head back to school, the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office remains focused on keeping our community safe.

From July 13 through August 12, our Robbery Intervention Detail conducted Operation No Hall Pass, a proactive Back-to-School Safety Initiative that resulted in:

• 170 arrests

• 21 felony apprehensions

• 17 firearms recovered

• 1 stolen vehicle recovered

These efforts are part of our continued commitment to proactive enforcement and creating a safer environment for our students, families, and community as the new school year begins.
