On Tuesday, July 14, 2026, just before 1:00 a.m., Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office (MDSO) Northside District deputies responded to the area of NW 21 Avenue and NW 64 Street regarding a person shot.

Upon arrival, deputies located a 12-year-old female with an apparent gunshot wound to the upper extremities and immediately rendered aid.  Miami-Dade Fire Rescue arrived on scene and transported the juvenile in stable condition to a local hospital.

General Investigations Unit detectives responded to the scene and assumed the investigation. There is no subject information available at this time.
