MIAMI-DADE ( August 25, 2026 )– The Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office is pleased to announce the launch of Versaterm CommunityConnect, an automated communication solution from Versaterm. Beginning August 25, 2026 at 11:00 a.m., community members who call 9-1-1 or report a crime will automatically receive text and email updates on the status of their call or case – along with an opportunity to share feedback with the agency.
The goal is to proactively provide community members with information they frequently request, reducing uncertainty and the need for follow-up calls. This may include basic but important information such as their case number, the status of their report, and, when appropriate, the investigator and organizational unit assigned to their case.
Versaterm CommunityConnect integrates with The Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office existing CAD and records systems to trigger timely, personalized messages without requiring additional staff effort.
