The Property and Evidence Section is open to the public Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–3 p.m. If you have any property in the possession of the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office (MDSO) Property and Evidence Section, and you have been cleared to pick it up, make an appointment to pick up your property.

What to Bring

  • MDSO case number or court order number
  • Valid government-issued photo ID
  • Property release form (if applicable)
  • Court order (if applicable)

Please note that property may only be released to the rightful owner or an authorized representative with proper documentation. Items held as evidence in pending cases cannot be released until the case has been adjudicated.
