The Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office encourages its citizens to ride with a deputy during one of their shifts. Provided the citizen meets all of the requirements, they are permitted to ride with an officer up to two times in a calendar year.

About the Program

If you're interested in taking part in a ride along, pick up a liability form at any MDSO District Station, fill it out, and return it to that station. The form must be submitted at least 10 days before the desired date and time of the ride along.
