Conditions of a sale may not be changed once the sale has commenced. The sale is considered to have started once the pre-sale announcement is begun. At that point, the plaintiff may not cancel a sale or change the conditions of a sale.

General Conditions

  • All items are sold "as is" and "where is" without any warranty or guarantee of any kind
  • All sales are final — no refunds or exchanges
  • The Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office reserves the right to withdraw any item prior to the commencement of bidding
  • Payment must be made in full at the time of sale by cash, cashier’s check, or money order payable to the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office
  • Personal checks and credit cards are not accepted

Buyer Responsibilities

  • Buyers are responsible for removing purchased items from the premises within the time specified at the sale
  • Failure to remove items within the specified time may result in forfeiture of the purchased property
  • Buyers are responsible for any applicable taxes, title transfers, or other fees associated with the purchased items
