The Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office (MDSO) Traffic Homicide Unit is investigating a fatal crash involving a five-year-old child.

According to investigators, deputies responded to the business regarding reports of a traffic crash where a child, who was riding a bicycle, was struck.  Miami-Dade Fire Rescue responded and determined that he was deceased on the scene.  The preliminary investigation revealed the child was riding a bicycle in between vehicles and crossed the path of a pick-up truck that was exiting the location before being struck.
